Women in Bangladesh are actively achieving higher education and providing financially for their families. They are breaking out of their shell and reaching new heights to establish themselves as independent women. They are balancing both their personal life and work life.
Even though other industries like the marketing sector, banking sector, engineering etc. are seeing more female employees, the technology industry is still male dominated. As the industry is set to grow to new heights, equal contribution from men and women are expected to meet the demand.
According to a study by PwC, only 3% of females say a career in technology is their first choice and only 5% of leadership positions in the technology industry are held by women; but that fact doesn’t mean women can’t compete and thrive. In order to bring women to the Technology industry, we need to show them that a career in technology can be their cup of tea.
