For example, if you have a retail site, the categories you have today will increase as your business grows and you have to make space for the new categories. There is no easy way for this but to plan ahead of time of how the content might grow and then to make sure you leave room for it.

Information Architecture is very important when you are designing the User Experience, as the Information Architect is designing how the user will perceive the information and how they will navigate around to complete their tasks.
